Staff Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Design and uphold secure, isolated security frameworks.

• Act as the primary technical authority during vendor assessments.

• Create 'Gold Image' baselines to facilitate quick onboarding processes.

• Take charge of responses to advanced persistent threats (APTs) and intricate breaches.

• Perform thorough Root Cause Analyses and implement preventive strategies.

• Develop automation that integrates various technical frameworks.

• Create custom API connections for efficient auto-remediation.

• Serve as a senior advisor for significant accounts.

• Manage the collection of technical evidence to ensure compliance.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8–12+ years of experience in Information Security.

• 3+ years in multi-client consulting or managed service provider (MSP) settings.

• Expert knowledge of AWS/Azure security protocols.

• Advanced understanding of IAM/Entra ID.

• Proficient in SOAR/SIEM engineering (Sentinel, Splunk, CrowdStrike).

• Strong skills in Python, Terraform, or Ansible.

• CISSP certification (Highly Preferred), along with CISM, CCSP, or specialized GIAC (GCIH/GCFA) credentials.

• Ability to communicate in multiple languages.
