Staff Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Develop an identity engine that enhances the entire company and strengthens our security initiatives.

• Create applications that facilitate and enforce our identity framework throughout the organization.

• Build integrations that consolidate identities across Identity Providers (IdPs), cloud services, SaaS applications, and internal systems.

• Automate identity lifecycle processes, including provisioning, access reviews, and offboarding.

• Collaborate with fellow IAM engineers and partner teams to define the architecture and deliver iteratively.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient programming skills in one or more general-purpose languages (such as Go, Rust, etc.).

• Familiarity with one or more infrastructure as code languages (e.g., Terraform, AWS CDK) in a production environment.

• Knowledge of identity protocols (SAML, OIDC, SCIM, OAuth) or identity providers (such as Okta, Azure AD, etc.).

• Demonstrated capability to convert system design requirements into clean, maintainable code.

• Experience leading or participating in architecture and design evaluations.

• Background in working with cloud platforms and deploying applications via CI/CD pipelines.

• Ability to work independently, take ownership of projects, and collaborate effectively across teams.

• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance.
