Staff Product Designer, Pay Ecosystem

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Oversee all design activities within your domain, making strategic choices regarding design and user experience for core features while spearheading initiatives aimed at future functionalities.

• Enhance team maturity by mentoring others, actively giving and receiving feedback, and collaborating to consistently elevate our quality standards.

• Collaborate efficiently with cross-functional partners and stakeholders to identify customer needs, challenges, and desires, fostering creative ideas, validating viable solutions, and executing them to the highest standards.

• Demonstrate self-motivation with a strong ability to work independently, packaging and presenting solutions to the broader creative team swiftly and excellently.

• Develop user flows that range from low-fidelity wireframes to high-fidelity, pixel-perfect designs that ensure intuitive user experiences.

• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of our design system, engage in team critiques and reviews, lead cross-domain initiatives, and facilitate design workshops.

• Work closely with engineering to create scalable, polished components while ensuring alignment between design and coded artifacts.

• Utilize AI prototyping as a means to explore conceptual ideas, iterating in collaboration with cross-functional peers to bring these ideas to life through functional flows.

• Motivate yourself and your colleagues to deliver top-quality work that is pixel-perfect while embracing and promoting innovative methods and approaches to work.

• Advocate for our experience principles by ensuring usability, scalability, and accessibility in all facets of your work.

• A skilled individual contributor designer with extensive experience in designing, evolving, and innovating user interfaces.

• Ability to empathize with enterprise users, utilizing user-centered design techniques to enhance design solutions at scale, given our customer base consists of enterprise users.

• An impressive portfolio showcasing your product design work, demonstrating your ability to think in holistic, scalable systems alongside a thorough understanding of visual and interaction design principles.

• A strong advocate for consistency and the significance of systematic and holistic building, while also understanding when to prioritize innovation.

• Excellent communication skills that enable you to craft compelling narratives around your design work, guide and direct others, and collaborate effectively with peers and stakeholders—proficient in both written and spoken English.

• Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a proven track record of autonomously managing design for complex domains and multiple projects across various organizational lines.

• Significant evidence of being an effective cross-functional collaborator with product and engineering teams, successfully building consensus, resolving conflicts, and driving impactful business outcomes.

• A respected voice within an organization focused not only on enhancing the design system and product experience but also on influencing quality, culture, and operational methodologies.

• Preference for candidates with experience in designing complex B2B SaaS solutions for sectors such as HRTech and FinTech.
