Staff Fullstack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the complete delivery process for web applications, APIs, and indexers to achieve user-visible results rapidly and securely.

• Develop a scalable API and SDK framework with clear versioning and documentation to empower numerous external integrators to build on Morpho.

• Create high-performance data pipelines based on on-chain events utilizing intelligent caching and query optimization to ensure UIs remain responsive within sub-second times.

• Elevate engineering standards by facilitating design reviews, mentoring 5–10 engineers, and enhancing testing, observability, and reliability practices.

• Enhance system performance and cost-effectiveness by identifying performance hotspots and implementing practical architectural modifications that decrease p95 latency.

• Collaborate with product, protocol, and business leaders to define project scope, evaluate tradeoffs, and establish success metrics, enabling the team to deliver the right solutions more swiftly.

• Manage incident preparedness through dashboards, alerts, and on-call protocols to maintain the health of critical paths.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8–10+ years of experience in developing and managing full-stack applications at scale, demonstrating measurable business outcomes.

• Proven ability to design systems capable of handling millions of daily requests while ensuring high availability.

• Experience in leading technical initiatives across teams without formal authority.

• Extensive knowledge of modern TypeScript in both client and server environments.

• Familiarity with our technology stack is advantageous: React, Next.js, GraphQL (Apollo Server), REST, WebSockets, Node.js (Hono/NestJS), PostgreSQL, Redis, event streaming, indexers (Ponder/Subsquid), viem, Jest/Cypress, OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Sentry, authentication, rate limiting, and input validation.
