Staff Fullstack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Take ownership and lead the development of complex features and systems within our Application.

• Spearhead the implementation of significant technical initiatives from start to finish.

• Stay at the forefront of establishing technical guidelines and ensuring code quality.

• Enhance system architecture, performance, and scalability.

• Collaborate closely with AI Engineers to integrate AI systems into reliable production settings.

• Design and maintain backend services, APIs, and frontend applications.

• Detect and resolve performance bottlenecks across application and database layers.

• Uphold strong testing practices, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.

• Work collaboratively across teams to influence technical decisions and execution.

• Implement and promote best practices, new technologies, and techniques within the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in building and scaling full-stack applications in production environments.

• In-depth knowledge of Python and Django.

• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS.

• Strong experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.

• Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or similar technologies.

• Solid understanding of testing methodologies (unit, integration, E2E).

• Proven capability to independently manage and drive complex technical subjects.

• Strong emphasis on performance, scalability, and system design.

• Ability to make swift decisions and execute effectively in fast-paced environments.

• Proactive attitude with high ownership and minimal passivity.

• Experience in pragmatically improving existing systems and architecture.

• Familiarity with AI-powered systems or workflows is advantageous.

• Candidates must be located within the CET -2/+2 time zone for this position.
