Staff Engineer, Revenue Management – Intelligence

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and develop interfaces that are resilient, easy to integrate with, and align with the needs of client-facing teams.

• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, Frontend Engineers, and various cross-functional partners to ideate and implement new features for our expanding user community.

• Deliver exceptional results by taking the lead or playing a significant role in large-scale cross-functional initiatives that greatly affect the organization.

• Troubleshoot production issues across services and various layers of the stack, enhancing the observability and reliability of the overall system.

• Elevate engineering standards and promote the adoption of AI tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in creating distributed systems or platform infrastructure tailored for high-scale, data-driven workloads.

• Advanced proficiency in Java or a comparable object-oriented language, along with knowledge of infrastructure tools (Airflow, Kubernetes, Ray, Terraform), service frameworks (FastAPI, gRPC), and monitoring platforms (Prometheus, Grafana, DataDog, Splunk).

• Proven track record of working with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS or GCP, including Kubernetes environments (GKE/EKS), serverless architectures, and managed services (e.g., Lambda, Cloud Run, ECS).

• Established experience with distributed data infrastructure, including message queues (Kafka, Kinesis), caching solutions (Redis, Memcached), database optimization, and the development of resilient, fault-tolerant systems.

• Knowledgeable in SQL (Postgres) and NoSQL (MongoDB) along with data warehouse modeling; adept at managing complex data queries, joins, aggregations, and transformations.

• Strong grasp of platform monitoring and optimization, including the identification of performance bottlenecks, latency reduction, cost management, and efficient scaling of high-throughput API services.

• Extensive experience in developing LLM-powered and agentic systems that extend beyond chat-based interfaces.
