Senior Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Develop large-scale solutions aimed at addressing challenging driving scenarios to enhance the performance of learned models across a range of autonomous driving tasks.

• Collaborate with Machine Learning (ML) infrastructure teams and contribute to workflows that support continuous learning through iterative mining, error analysis, training, and deployment.

• Research and innovate methods for extracting indicators of uncertainty and informativeness to automatically identify challenging scenes and evaluate model performance.

• Offer statistical insights and depth regarding model uncertainty, generalization, and robustness.

• Execute deep learning experiments and prepare technical documentation.

• Mentor junior researchers on research initiatives and oversee design document evaluations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a closely related technical discipline;

• Plus five years of industry experience following the completion of a bachelor’s degree.

• Experience must include:

• Industry experience with Python, development of production-quality software, and application of solid software engineering principles such as configuration management, source control, build processes, code reviews, testing methodologies, app containerization, and continuous integration, as well as core AWS services (S3, RDS, Athena, Redshift or EKS), and DBMS (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB or SQLite);

• Industry experience in writing SQL queries for data analysis, data modeling, and dashboard creation (using Looker or Redash), architecting and deploying high-performance & large-scale distributed systems in real-world robotics applications, conducting system and software design, project management, and applying agile methodologies.
