Staff AI Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• The Staff AI Solution Architect will take charge of designing, developing, and supporting AI-driven enterprise applications and services that facilitate data analytics across global functions, including Finance, Treasury, Sourcing, and Enabling Functions.

• This role involves complete ownership of AI components, covering architecture, testing, documentation, and deployment within expansive data analytics programs.

• The architect will utilize technologies like Databricks and AWS to create scalable, standardized AI solutions that provide measurable value through the Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) framework, with a significant focus on the effects of AI initiatives on business.

• Participate in technical and business discussions to shape the future direction of AI solution architecture.

• Evaluate current and future states to create implementation roadmaps for AI solutions.

• Convert business needs into architectural requirements and contribute to infrastructure governance.

• Collaborate with service providers to develop AI solutions that align with project objectives and enterprise standards.

• Ensure that AI solutions comply with architectural frameworks and adhere to GDPR, SOX, and Responsible AI guidelines.

• Investigate emerging AI technologies and trends to improve solution design and discover new capabilities in Databricks and AWS.

• Monitor deployed solutions to guarantee optimal performance and security compliance.

• Work alongside cross-functional teams, including Data Architecture and Analytics, to define and implement AI solution roadmaps that align with the business strategy.

• Collaborate with product managers and data architects to influence analytics product roadmaps.

• Team up with data scientists, engineers, and designers to ensure the development of robust, scalable AI implementations.

• Support AI initiatives throughout Vernova HQ to foster innovation and operational excellence.

• Define and track KPIs to assess the success and impact of AI solutions.

• Collect feedback, monitor performance, and refine features to enhance value delivery.

• Demonstrated experience in designing and deploying cloud-based AI solutions.

• Solid understanding of aligning AI architecture with business goals.

• Familiarity with automation, DevOps practices, and cloud-native AI tools.

• Capability to adapt AI applications to cloud platforms like AWS.

• Working knowledge of Databricks services that support the AI solution ecosystem.

• Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, including engaging stakeholders at all levels.

• Proactive in identifying risks, addressing issues, and promoting continuous improvement.

• Open-minded to new ideas and innovative problem-solving approaches.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.

• Experience with GE or GE Vernova is highly desirable.

• Proven leadership in managing cross-functional teams and complex projects.

• Strong business acumen with the ability to align technical solutions with strategic objectives.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

• Experience in developing and scaling AI applications in enterprise settings.
