SRE Analyst, Mid-level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Conduct troubleshooting and functional assessments of incidents within non-production settings;

• Offer application support in testing environments;

• Implement and oversee monitoring tools to guarantee visibility into system performance and proactively identify issues;

• Lead incident response efforts and perform post-incident reviews (postmortems) to uncover root causes and prevent future occurrences;

• Create scripts and tools to automate repetitive tasks, enhancing operational efficiency and minimizing human error;

• Evaluate system capacity and strategize for scalability to accommodate demand, ensuring services remain accessible and responsive;

• Collaborate with development teams to safely and efficiently implement changes, reducing impact on the staging environment;

• Work closely with security teams to integrate security practices into the testing lifecycle;

• Develop and maintain technical documentation and operational runbooks, while training teams on best practices and tools;

• Partner with QA analysts to continually enhance system reliability and efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience managing applications that utilize WebLogic Application Server, SOA Suite, OSB, Apache, OHS;

• Preferred: experience with applications based on Kubernetes/OpenShift and microservices;

• Preferred: familiarity with Axway API Gateway;

• Basic knowledge of supporting cloud applications and relational and non-relational databases (Oracle, MongoDB, Cassandra, PostgreSQL);

• Understanding of Linux operating systems;

• Knowledge of SRE and DevOps methodologies;

• Experience with observability tools and dashboard creation for both monolithic and distributed systems (primarily ELK Stack);

• Proficiency with monitoring tools for monolithic and distributed systems (primarily ELK Stack);

• Comprehension of infrastructure operations in distributed environments; troubleshooting applications and infrastructure with a focus on root cause analysis;

• Capability to develop automated processes using programming languages (Python and shell scripting);

• This position is remote, but candidates must reside in São Paulo - SP or Curitiba - PR.
