Specialist II – Front-End, React, SPA Architecture

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design architecture of the "One Page Cockpit": Accountable for the technical conception and execution of a highly data-rich interface (Data-Heavy SPA) that enables planners to simulate numerous "What-If" scenarios without any page reloads and maintains a Time to Interactive under 50 ms.

• Performance engineering and virtualization: Employ advanced React rendering techniques (list/table virtualization to accommodate tens of thousands of SKUs), extensive memoization, aggressive code splitting, and management of the browser event loop to guarantee the UI remains responsive (Main Thread Block).

• Transient state management (Draft Mode): Create intricate bidirectional client-side mathematical logic (GMV ↔ Volume). You will manage draft state in local memory (State Management) while synchronizing deltas (edited cells) in the background with our BFF (Kotlin/EKS) and DynamoDB.

• Visual and graphical synchronization: Ensure a unified visual source of truth across various components. If a user modifies a "Baseline" cell in the table, related charts (recharts/D3 or embedded Tableau Extensions) must promptly reflect the new trend line.

• Integration and real-time: Utilize RESTful APIs and design continuous bidirectional communication via WebSockets with the backend, ensuring that progress updates for long-running tasks (coordinated by AWS Step Functions) seamlessly update toasts and progress bars on-screen.

• Technical quality and tooling: Champion Clean Code best practices within the repository. Establish a thorough automated testing pipeline (Unit tests with Jest/Vitest, Integration with React Testing Library, and E2E with Cypress/Playwright) and contribute to CI/CD via GitHub Actions and cloud deployment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in high-complexity front-end: Demonstrated hands-on expertise in architecting and developing corporate SPAs (Single Page Applications) that manage substantial on-screen data volumes, intricate grids, and interactive dashboards.

• Exceptional proficiency in React and TypeScript: Profound understanding of the React lifecycle, custom Hooks, Server-side Rendering (SSR) versus Client-side Rendering (CSR), and stringent TypeScript typing to safeguard the application from runtime errors.

• Expertise in state management and data fetching: Extensive knowledge of contemporary global state libraries (Zustand, Redux Toolkit) and cache/network orchestration (RTK Query, React Query / TanStack Query).

• Front-end testing architecture: Capability to devise effective front-end testing pyramids, emphasizing user behavior (Behavior-Driven) rather than fragile implementation tests.

• Technical aptitude and critical thinking: Skill in profiling rendering bottlenecks using browser-native tools (Chrome DevTools Performance), identifying memory leaks, and refactoring JavaScript array-handling algorithms.

• Strong communication and business alignment: Capability to collaborate effectively with UX/UI designers and Product Managers, translating system user journeys into highly ergonomic and reusable UI components.

• Differentiators:

• Professional experience with the AWS cloud ecosystem (e.g., static hosting on Amazon S3, distribution via CloudFront CDN, and edge functions via Lambda@Edge).

• Familiarity with developing or integrating components focused on Agentic AI (on-screen copilots, token streaming in the UI, generative UI rendering).

• Previous experience in creating extensions for DataViz tools (especially Tableau Extensions).

• Experience transitioning legacy monolithic systems or extensive Excel spreadsheets to top-tier web applications.
