Special Process Auditor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Formulate strategies for the effective planning and execution of Nadcap audits, focusing on site compliance.

• Assist in upholding the Nadcap certification process across all locations.

• Ensure adherence to all industry and customer standards at various sites.

• Offer subject matter expert leadership to the Special Process Network audit procedure to guarantee schedule adherence, auditor qualifications, process enhancements, and corrective actions.

• Engage in customer quality improvement plans (QIP) associated with special processes as necessary.

• Collaborate with site personnel, product engineering, and the Product Action Committees (PAC) to promote product and manufacturing enhancements that lead to reductions in escapes and improvements in product reliability concerning special processes.

• Conduct risk assessments and initiate mitigation actions, including ongoing improvement efforts.

• Utilize project management tools to influence cross-functional departments and initiatives.

• Serve as a mentor in Special Process, QMS processes, and procedures for various sites.

⛳️ Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required.

• A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a technical discipline.

• Over 10 years of experience in a quality-related role within an aerospace production setting.

• In-depth knowledge of the AS9100 series of industry standards.

• Familiarity with NADCAP Special Processes.

• Direct experience with all components of Honeywell’s Quality Management Systems and certifications.

• A minimum of 5 years of Lead Auditor experience.
