Spatial Analyst – Remote Sensing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Play a vital role in the execution of projects utilizing remote sensing and various spatial analysis methodologies.

• Collaborate within a diverse, interdisciplinary team to support the delivery of products including remote sensing evaluations, habitat mapping and modeling, as well as other technical spatial services as needed.

• Aid in the interpretation of remote sensing and other geospatial outputs in an environmental framework and contribute to the development of reports.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in remote sensing.

• Appropriate tertiary qualifications in Remote Sensing / GIS / Spatial Sciences / Surveying.

• A collaborative, multi-disciplinary approach, with adaptability and eagerness to work across various sectors.

• Outstanding teamwork and relationship-building abilities.

• Capability to excel in a fast-paced consulting environment.

• Proven commercial experience in optical remote sensing analysis and interpretation for environmental purposes.

• High proficiency in using ESRI ArcPro.

• Competence with QGIS.

• A background in environmental sciences and/or ecology.

• Strong skills in report writing.
