Spanish Interpreter, LATAM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Deliver precise, consecutive interpretation primarily in healthcare environments.

• Enable essential communication in social service and financial sectors.

• Begin with Over-the-Phone Interpretation (OPI) with a pathway to progress into Video Remote Interpretation (VRI).

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience: A minimum of 6 months to 1 year of professional experience in remote medical interpretation.

• English Proficiency: At least C1 fluency. Valid certifications from EF SET (4-Skill), TOEFL, or CAE are accepted.

• Medical Interpretation Certification: Proof of medical interpreter knowledge issued within the last 12 months is required. Accepted certifications include: ALTA: Minimum score of 9 needed. LanguageStat (PICSI): A passing score of 75–80% is required.

• Core Skills: Full command of medical and customer service terminology is essential.

• Compliance: Must currently possess, or be willing to acquire, HIPAA and FWA (Fraud, Waste, and Abuse) certifications.

• Background Check: Must be willing to successfully complete a standard background check via email.
