Solutions Engineer, Global Payroll

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with our go-to-market teams to demonstrate the advantages of Deel’s Global Payroll Platform and secure technical victories.

• Engage with potential clients to evaluate their existing payroll practices and pinpoint areas for enhancement and optimization.

• Serve as the technical representative throughout the sales process — managing solution discovery, RFP submissions, platform demonstrations, and integration workshops.

• Work alongside Product, Engineering, and Operations to advocate for client needs, expedite deal flow, and refine messaging around value.

• Embrace constructive disruption by challenging existing norms and continuously seeking opportunities to scale, enhance, and refine processes.

• Remain informed about global payroll regulations, trends, and best practices to consistently elevate service offerings and uphold industry expertise.

• Assist with initiatives led by Partnership & Marketing.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience as a Solutions Engineer or Pre-Sales Consultant.

• Prior experience in a Global Payroll or HCM organization.

• Familiarity with best-in-class HCM and ERP payroll integrations, particularly with Workday and SuccessFactors.

• Willingness to travel within and outside of the designated territory (approximately 10% or less).

• Exceptional presentation skills, with a focus on delivering value (multilingual abilities are an advantage).

• An entrepreneurial mindset coupled with a positive, can-do attitude.

• A collaborative team player is crucial.

• Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced start-up environment.
