Solutions Engineer – Financial Institutions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the complete partner journey — from pre-sales through to go-live and beyond.

• Collaborate with the Sales team to create intelligent, scalable payment solutions customized to partner requirements.

• Spearhead API integrations (REST, webhooks, SDKs) to ensure partners are operational swiftly.

• Act as a trusted technical advisor to bank stakeholders at all levels, offering expert insights on payment performance, user experience, and global payment strategies.

• Address intricate technical challenges and expedite the integration process.

• Work in partnership with Product & Engineering teams to enhance the platform and customer experience.

• Lead efforts in continuous optimization (conversion, authorization rates, fraud prevention, routing).

• Collaborate closely with the Product team to ensure scalable solutions while addressing merchant challenges.

• Embrace a Product mindset — be prepared to innovate from the ground up and automate processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Language Skills: Advanced English proficiency is essential.

• Over 8 years of experience in a Solutions Engineer or similar technical position within payments, fintech, or financial services, with direct engagement in banks, neobanks, or regulated financial institutions.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of fostering enduring relationships with large, multi-stakeholder financial organizations.

• Familiarity with integration processes and experience working with APIs.

• Demonstrated ability to clearly convey complex technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders in intricate and highly regulated, risk-aware environments.

• Proven success in delivering impactful product demonstrations and presentations.

• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities.
