This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Sweden.
• Collaborating closely with the Account Executive to gain a comprehensive understanding of the prospect's technical landscape, challenges related to Cloud Data Platform costs, optimization goals, and key business objectives through detailed technical discovery sessions.
• Taking ownership of the technical validation and Proof of Value (POV) initiatives for SELECT. This involves careful preparation of POCs, proactive oversight, and ensuring successful technical outcomes to clearly demonstrate value and alignment with prospect needs.
• Customizing and delivering impactful SELECT platform demonstrations to prospects, effectively showcasing its features while addressing their unique use cases and concerns.
• Utilizing your analytical expertise and comprehensive knowledge of Cloud Data Platforms to craft persuasive business cases and thorough ROI analyses that articulate the tangible value, cost savings, and performance enhancements achievable with SELECT.
• Establishing yourself as the primary expert on SELECT within the company, ensuring that prospects realize optimal outcomes and experience a smooth implementation process.
• Taking full responsibility for the technical success of SELECT engagements, guiding prospects through the evaluation process, meeting all technical requirements, and fostering technical confidence in the solution.
• Representing DoiT and SELECT at corporate events and industry conferences, delivering engaging presentations and demonstrations to a broader audience, highlighting our expertise in Snowflake/Databricks (and soon BigQuery) optimization and platform capabilities.
• Converting customer pain points and feature gaps into structured, technically credible feedback for R&D teams, serving as the voice of the technical customer in roadmap discussions.
• Ensuring timely entry of data into internal business support systems, contributing to tools and systems that provide key business information and metrics to showcase performance and effectiveness.
• Over 5 years of experience in a Solutions Engineering position within a B2B SaaS software company, with a significant portion dedicated to selling to Snowflake, Databricks, and BigQuery users while directly addressing challenges related to Cloud Data Platforms or cloud cost management.
• Profound and demonstrable knowledge of Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery, along with associated best practices.
• Practical experience working with SaaS solutions focused on Cloud Data Platforms in areas such as observability, optimization, FinOps, or data integration.
• Exceptional skills in data analysis, with a proven ability to identify key trends, outliers, and correlations, as well as translate those observations into actionable insights.
• A strong record of utilizing product data to construct persuasive business cases and ROI justifications for potential customers, clearly demonstrating the significant cost savings and performance improvements possible through our solution.
• An outstanding ability to explain complex concepts related to Cloud Data Platforms and SELECT functionalities in a clear, concise, and comprehensible manner to both technical and business audiences.
• Exceptional verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills, with the confidence and expertise to discuss advanced topics such as Cloud Data Platform optimization strategies and the compelling value proposition of SELECT.
• Strong intellectual curiosity, excellent problem-solving skills, and a genuine enthusiasm for continuous learning and improvement within the evolving Snowflake, Databricks, and BigQuery ecosystem.
• Proven experience in engaging and presenting to executive-level prospects and customers on critical topics related to Cloud Data Platforms, particularly cost management.
• Demonstrated experience with modern technical selling best practices and methodologies, along with a successful track record in competitive sales settings, including the ability to contribute to and implement effective trial, demo, and RFP processes specifically tailored for Cloud Data Platform optimization solutions like SELECT.
• Previous professional experience as a Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery data engineer/architect or FinOps professional is a plus.
• A documented history of success in a fast-paced, scaling business, ideally within the Cloud Data Platform ecosystem.
