This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.
• Collaborating with the Account Executive to gain a comprehensive understanding of the prospect's technical landscape, including Cloud Data Platform cost challenges, cost optimization objectives, and key business goals through detailed technical discovery sessions.
• Taking ownership of the technical validation and Proof of Value (POV) initiatives for SELECT. This entails careful POC preparation, proactive management, and ensuring successful technical outcomes that clearly demonstrate value and align with prospect needs.
• Customizing and presenting engaging SELECT platform demonstrations to prospects, effectively highlighting its functionalities and addressing their unique use cases and concerns.
• Utilizing analytical skills and a deep understanding of Cloud Data Platforms to create compelling business cases and thorough ROI analyses that clearly articulate the tangible benefits, cost savings, and performance enhancements achievable with SELECT.
• Establishing yourself as the primary expert on SELECT within the company, ensuring that prospects achieve optimal outcomes and enjoy a smooth implementation process.
• Fully owning the technical success of SELECT engagements, guiding prospects through the technical assessment process, addressing all technical needs, and building confidence in the solution.
• Representing DoiT and SELECT at company events and industry conferences, delivering captivating presentations and demonstrations to a broader audience, showcasing our Snowflake/Databricks (and soon BigQuery) optimization expertise as well as platform capabilities.
• Converting customer pain points and feature deficiencies into structured, technically credible feedback for R&D teams. Acting as the voice of the technical customer in roadmap discussions.
• Ensuring prompt data entry into internal business support solutions. Contributing to systems and tools that provide essential business information and metrics to highlight performance and effectiveness.
• Over 5 years of experience in a Solutions Engineering role within a B2B SaaS software company, with a significant portion of that experience dedicated to selling to users of Snowflake, Databricks, and BigQuery, and directly addressing challenges related to Cloud Data Platforms or cloud cost management.
• In-depth and demonstrable knowledge of Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery, along with associated best practices.
• Practical experience working with SaaS solutions that focus on Cloud Data Platforms in areas such as observability, optimization, FinOps, or data integration.
• Exceptional data analysis skills with a proven ability to identify important trends, outliers, and correlations, along with the capability to translate those findings into actionable insights.
• A strong track record of utilizing product data to develop compelling business cases and ROI justifications for prospective clients, clearly demonstrating the significant cost savings and performance improvements attainable through our solution.
• Outstanding ability to convey complex concepts related to Cloud Data Platforms and SELECT functionalities in a clear, concise, and easily digestible manner for both technical and business audiences.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills, with the confidence and expertise to discuss sophisticated topics such as Cloud Data Platform optimization strategies and the compelling value proposition of SELECT.
• Strong intellectual curiosity, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a genuine passion for ongoing learning and improvement within the dynamic Snowflake/Databricks/BigQuery ecosystem.
• Proven experience presenting to executive-level prospects and clients on critical topics related to Cloud Data Platforms, particularly in cost management.
• Demonstrated experience with modern technical selling best practices/methodologies and a successful history in competitive sales environments, including the capability to contribute to and implement effective trial, demo, and RFP processes specifically designed for Cloud Data Platform optimization solutions like SELECT.
• Previous professional experience as a Snowflake/Databricks/BigQuery data engineer/architect or FinOps professional is a plus.
• A proven record of success in a fast-paced and evolving business environment, ideally within the Cloud Data Platform ecosystem.
