Solutions Engineer, DoiT Cloud Intelligence

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Sweden.

📋 Description

• Technical Qualification & Discovery: Collaborating with the Account Executive to gain a comprehensive understanding of the prospect’s cloud environment, FinOps maturity, cost management challenges, and operational objectives through detailed technical discovery sessions involving engineering, finance, and platform teams.

• Technical Validation & POV Leadership: Taking ownership of the technical validation and Proof of Values (POVs) for DoiT Cloud Intelligence. This encompasses careful POV preparation, proactive management, and ensuring successful technical results that clearly demonstrate value and alignment with prospect needs.

• Platform Demonstrations: Creating and presenting engaging, customized demonstrations of DoiT Cloud Intelligence, highlighting features such as cloud cost visibility, optimization insights, and operational intelligence across complex multi-cloud environments.

• Business Case & ROI Development: Utilizing your knowledge of cloud economics and FinOps to craft persuasive business cases and ROI analyses that effectively communicate the financial and operational benefits of implementing DoiT Cloud Intelligence.

• Partner & Portfolio Motion Support (MSP, PE, SI): Assisting in technical engagements with Managed Service Providers (MSPs), Private Equity (PE) firms, and Systems Integrators (SIs) by illustrating how DoiT Cloud Intelligence facilitates portfolio-level visibility, operational insights across various cloud environments, and scalable optimization strategies.

• DoiT Cloud Intelligence Expertise: Establishing yourself as the primary expert on DoiT Cloud Intelligence within the organization, ensuring that prospects and partners achieve optimal results and experience a seamless onboarding process.

• Technical Win Ownership: Assuming full responsibility for the technical success of DoiT Cloud Intelligence engagements, guiding prospects through the evaluation phase, addressing technical needs, and instilling confidence in the platform’s capability to enhance cloud efficiency and operational insights.

• Event & Conference Presentations: Representing DoiT Cloud Intelligence at company events, webinars, and industry conferences, delivering captivating presentations and demonstrations that emphasize the platform’s cloud intelligence and FinOps features.

• Product Feedback and Customer Advocacy: Converting customer challenges, partner needs, and feature gaps into structured, technically credible feedback for product and engineering teams, aiding in the development of the Cloud Intelligence platform.

• Accurate, Timely Documentation: Ensuring prompt data entry into internal business support systems and contributing to systems and tools that provide crucial business information and metrics to showcase performance and effectiveness.


⛳️ Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in a pre-Solution Engineering role at a B2B SaaS software company, catering to both enterprise and mid-market accounts.

• Familiarity with ITSM ecosystems and key solutions within them, such as Cloud Management tools, DataDog, Chef, Ansible, Puppet, New Relic, ServiceNow, AlertLogic, etc.

• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or equivalent cloud platforms, along with Datacenter experience and knowledge of hypervisors like VMWare.

• Strong data analysis capabilities and the ability to navigate spreadsheets to identify trends, outliers, correlations, and reconciliation needs across extensive data sets.

• Practical understanding of cloud-centric architectures.

• Comfort in a metric-driven environment, including reporting on and enhancing business performance against a defined set of monthly KPIs and metrics.

• Ability to simplify complex technology concepts for easy comprehension.

• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Intellectual curiosity, strong problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

• Prior experience working with or presenting to executive-level prospects and customers.

• Familiarity with modern technical selling best practices and experience in a competitive sales environment, including implementing improved trial, demo, and RFP processes.

• Proven success record in a rapidly growing and scaling business.
