Solutions Engineer – Data/Graph

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Design and develop knowledge graphs and ontologies that serve as the foundation for Mendix's AI solutions, technical demonstrations, and client implementations.

• Lead the data and graph architecture workstream within integrated team solutions, collaborating with Solutions Engineers who handle the application and AI layers.

• Transform validated customer projects into reusable assets, including reference architectures, blueprints, accelerators, and replicable patterns.

• Participate in customer engagements, events, and analyst briefings as the team's specialist in data and graph.

• Base go-to-market positioning and storytelling on validated technical proof points, aiding in significant moments such as executive demonstrations and analyst briefings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven hands-on experience in designing and constructing knowledge graphs and ontologies.

• In-depth understanding of graph data modeling, semantic modeling, and ontology design.

• Familiarity with graph database platforms and query languages (e.g., SPARQL, Cypher, or equivalent).

• Fundamentals of data engineering: pipelines, data preparation, and integration with enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, operational systems).

• Capability to convert data and graph architectures into reusable patterns and clear technical narratives.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with Product, GTM, engineering, and customer stakeholders.
