This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.
• Collaborating closely with the Account Executive to gain a comprehensive understanding of the prospect’s cloud infrastructure, FinOps maturity, cost management challenges, and operational objectives through detailed technical discovery sessions with engineering, finance, and platform teams.
• Taking ownership of the technical validation and Proof of Values (POVs) for DoiT Cloud Intelligence. This entails thorough POV preparation, proactive management, and guaranteeing successful technical outcomes that demonstrate clear value and alignment with the prospect's needs.
• Creating and presenting engaging, customized demonstrations of DoiT Cloud Intelligence, highlighting features such as cloud cost visibility, optimization insights, and operational intelligence in complex multi-cloud environments.
• Utilizing your knowledge of cloud economics and FinOps to craft persuasive business cases and ROI analyses that effectively communicate the financial and operational benefits of implementing DoiT Cloud Intelligence.
• Assisting in technical engagements with Managed Service Providers (MSPs), Private Equity (PE) firms, and Systems Integrators (SIs) by illustrating how DoiT Cloud Intelligence facilitates portfolio-level visibility, operational insights across various cloud environments, and scalable optimization strategies.
• Establishing yourself as the primary expert within the organization for DoiT Cloud Intelligence, ensuring that prospects and partners achieve optimal results and a smooth onboarding experience.
• Taking full responsibility for securing the technical win in DoiT Cloud Intelligence engagements, guiding prospects through the evaluation process, addressing technical needs, and fostering confidence in the platform’s capability to enhance cloud efficiency and operational insights.
• Representing DoiT Cloud Intelligence at company events, webinars, and industry conferences, delivering captivating presentations and demonstrations that showcase the platform’s cloud intelligence and FinOps capabilities.
• Converting customer pain points, partner needs, and feature gaps into structured, technically credible feedback for product and engineering teams, contributing to the evolution of the Cloud Intelligence platform.
• Ensuring timely data entry into internal business support systems, contributing to tools that provide essential business information and metrics to highlight performance and effectiveness.
• Over 7 years of experience in a pre-Solution Engineering role at a B2B SaaS software company, selling to both enterprise and mid-market accounts.
• Familiarity with ITSM ecosystems and leading solutions within them, such as Cloud Management tools, DataDog, Chef, Ansible, Puppet, New Relic, ServiceNow, AlertLogic, and others.
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or equivalent cloud services, and data center experience with knowledge of hypervisors like VMWare.
• Strong data analysis abilities and proficiency in navigating spreadsheets to identify trends, outliers, correlations, and reconciliation needs across extensive data sets.
• A solid practical understanding of cloud-centric architectures.
• Comfort in a metric-driven environment, including the ability to report on and enhance business performance against defined monthly KPIs and metrics.
• The capability to simplify complex technological concepts for easier understanding.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
• A strong sense of intellectual curiosity, effective problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
• Previous experience in engaging and presenting to executive-level prospects and clients.
• Familiarity with modern technical selling best practices and selling in a competitive landscape, including the implementation of new or enhanced trial, demo, and RFP processes.
