This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Act as the technical expert throughout the sales process.
• Take ownership of various pre-sales tasks, such as technical presentations, demonstrations, and proof of concept initiatives.
• Collaborate with the Sales team, jointly managing the sales cycle and account strategy.
• Drive deeper engagement within the account by identifying needs for additional resources from other departments, exploring customer alternatives, and recognizing potential internal sponsors.
• Comprehend and document customer business and technical needs, utilizing this information to create value-driven proposals that address business drivers and pain points, thereby guiding the technical sales cycle towards a successful closure.
• Establish strong relationships with key contacts in the partner ecosystem.
• Partner with the Channel Sales team to enhance relationships with partners; oversee product and solution training and enablement within the partner ecosystem to leverage them for driving opportunities to a technical close.
• Several years of experience in a technical pre-sales capacity.
• Domain expertise in at least two areas, including AIOps, Digital Experience, Cloud Observability, Network Observability, Infrastructure Observability, and/or Application Observability.
• A robust understanding of Networking and/or Observability technologies, including SNMP, Flow, Packet Capture, TCP Fundamentals, Routing & Switching, Virtualization, SD-WAN, Cloud environments, and Applications.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting both virtually and in-person, storytelling, gaining followers, and translating complex technical designs into business outcomes.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise datacenter and cloud architectures from an operational perspective.
• An effective Project Manager, able to proactively manage multiple customer engagements simultaneously.
• Sales-oriented, skilled in negotiation, influencing outcomes, closing deals, and securing new business.
• High trust factor, capable of handling objections, inquiries, and counter statements effectively.
• A reliable team player, able to proactively support stakeholders including sales, PS, support, PMs, R&D, and executives.
