Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the sales team in Europe to gain insight into client needs and support the provision of Edged data center solutions that meet their goals.

• Offer technical support to sales teams in response to customer RFPs. Address technical inquiries, create presentation materials, and participate in meetings with both potential and existing clients.

• Maintain an in-depth understanding of Edged's data center products and services to effectively convey their value to both internal and external stakeholders.

• Present and clarify technical information, including mechanical and electrical designs, to prospective customers.

• Collaborate with Edged's internal engineering, operations, and project delivery teams to ensure that client agreements are suitable and well-managed.

• Provide post-sales technical support to clients by addressing their questions and concerns, and assisting in the implementation of future solutions.

• Continuously assess the competitive landscape and industry trends, offering insights and feedback to enhance Edged's product offerings.

• Cultivate and sustain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are fulfilled and expectations are surpassed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant Engineering discipline.

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a technical role, including data center design, construction, or technical sales. Other pertinent experience may also be considered.

• Experience in technical sales or sales engineering, ideally within the data center sector.

• A solid understanding of data center design and critical systems is essential.

• Familiarity with hyperscale client design standards and philosophies is advantageous.

• Strong knowledge of data center customer infrastructure, encompassing servers, storage, networking, and virtualization technologies.
