This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.
• Collaborating with the Account Executive to gain a comprehensive understanding of the prospect's technical landscape, Kubernetes challenges, cost optimization objectives, and primary business goals through detailed technical discovery sessions.
• Taking ownership and leading the technical validation and Proof of Concepts (POCs) specifically for PerfectScale, which involves thorough POC preparation, proactive management, and ensuring successful technical outcomes that demonstrate clear value and alignment with prospect needs.
• Crafting and presenting engaging and customized demonstrations of the PerfectScale platform to prospects, effectively highlighting its features and addressing their unique use cases and concerns.
• Utilizing your analytical skills and extensive knowledge of Kubernetes to create persuasive business cases and comprehensive ROI analyses that clearly outline the tangible value, cost savings, and performance enhancements achievable with PerfectScale.
• Establishing yourself as the go-to expert within the organization for PerfectScale, ensuring that prospects attain optimal results and a seamless implementation process.
• Assuming full responsibility for the technical win in PerfectScale engagements, guiding prospects through the technical evaluation process, fulfilling all technical requirements, and fostering technical confidence in the solution.
• Representing DoiT and PerfectScale at company events and industry conferences, delivering captivating presentations and demonstrations to a broader audience, showcasing our expertise in Kubernetes optimization and platform capabilities.
• Ensuring prompt and accurate entry of data into internal business support systems.
• Contributing to the development of systems and tools that provide essential business information and metrics to highlight performance and effectiveness.
• 5+ years of experience in a Solutions Engineering role within a B2B SaaS software company, with a substantial portion of that experience dedicated to selling to DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE, or FinOps teams, directly addressing challenges related to Kubernetes or cloud cost management.
• Deep and demonstrable expertise in Kubernetes across various platforms (EKS, AKS, GKE, OpenShift) and associated DevOps best practices.
• Practical experience working with SaaS solutions focused on cloud environments (observability, optimization, FinOps, Platform Engineering).
• Exceptional data analysis skills with a proven ability to interpret data from various monitoring solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog), including identifying key trends, outliers, correlations, and reconciliation needs to derive actionable insights.
• Strong track record of leveraging product data to develop compelling business cases and ROI justifications for prospective customers, clearly demonstrating significant cost savings and performance enhancements achievable through our solution.
• Outstanding ability to communicate complex Kubernetes concepts and PerfectScale functionalities in a clear, concise, and easily understandable manner to both technical and business audiences.
• Exceptional verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills, with the confidence and expertise to present on advanced topics such as Kubernetes optimization strategies and the compelling value proposition of PerfectScale.
• Strong intellectual curiosity, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a genuine passion for continuous learning and improvement within the dynamic field of Kubernetes optimization.
• Proven experience in engaging with and presenting to executive-level prospects and customers on critical topics related to cloud cost management and Kubernetes strategy.
• Demonstrated experience with contemporary technical selling best practices and a successful track record in competitive sales environments, including the capability to contribute to and implement effective trial, demo, and RFP processes specifically tailored for Kubernetes optimization solutions like PerfectScale.
• Prior professional experience as a Kubernetes DevOps Engineer, Platform Engineer, SRE, or FinOps professional is advantageous.
• A proven history of success in a fast-paced and scaling business environment, ideally within the cloud and/or Kubernetes management domain.
