This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.
• Collaborating with the Account Executive to gain a comprehensive understanding of the prospect's technical landscape, Kubernetes challenges, cost optimization objectives, and primary business goals through detailed technical discovery sessions.
• Taking ownership of the technical validation and Proof of Concepts (POCs) specifically for PerfectScale. This entails thorough POC preparation, proactive management, and ensuring successful technical results that demonstrate clear value and alignment with prospect needs.
• Crafting and delivering engaging and customized presentations of the PerfectScale platform to prospects, effectively highlighting its features and addressing their unique use cases and concerns.
• Utilizing analytical skills and a deep understanding of Kubernetes to create persuasive business cases and comprehensive ROI analyses that clearly convey the tangible value, cost savings, and performance enhancements achievable with PerfectScale.
• Establishing oneself as the primary expert within the company for PerfectScale, ensuring that prospects achieve optimal results and a seamless implementation process.
• Assuming complete responsibility for the technical success of PerfectScale engagements, guiding prospects through the technical evaluation journey, fulfilling all technical requirements, and fostering technical confidence in the solution.
• Representing DoiT and PerfectScale at corporate events and industry conferences, delivering captivating presentations and demonstrations to a broader audience, showcasing our expertise in Kubernetes optimization and platform capabilities.
• Ensuring prompt entry of data into internal business support systems. Contributing to tools and systems that provide essential business information and metrics to highlight performance and effectiveness.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Solutions Engineering role within a B2B SaaS environment, with a substantial part of that experience focused on selling to DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE, or FinOps teams and addressing challenges related to Kubernetes or cloud cost management.
• A deep and demonstrable understanding of Kubernetes across various distributions (EKS, AKS, GKE, OpenShift) along with associated DevOps best practices.
• Hands-on experience with SaaS solutions that concentrate on cloud environments (observability, optimization, FinOps, Platform Engineering).
• Exceptional data analysis capabilities with a proven track record of analyzing data from diverse monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog), including the ability to identify key trends, outliers, correlations, and reconciliation needs to derive actionable insights.
• A solid history of leveraging product data to build compelling business cases and ROI justifications for potential customers, clearly illustrating the significant cost savings and performance improvements achievable through our solution.
• Outstanding ability to explain complex Kubernetes concepts and PerfectScale functionalities in a clear, concise, and comprehensible manner to both technical and business audiences.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills, possessing the confidence and expertise to present on intricate topics such as Kubernetes optimization strategies and the compelling value proposition of PerfectScale.
• Strong intellectual curiosity, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a genuine enthusiasm for continuous learning and improvement within the evolving field of Kubernetes optimization.
• Proven experience working with and presenting to executive-level prospects and customers on critical issues related to cloud cost management and Kubernetes strategies.
• Demonstrated experience with modern technical selling best practices and a successful history in competitive sales environments, including the capability to contribute to and implement effective trial, demo, and RFP processes specifically designed for Kubernetes optimization solutions like PerfectScale.
• Previous professional experience as a Kubernetes DevOps Engineer, Platform Engineer, SRE, or FinOps professional is an advantage.
• A proven track record of success in a fast-paced and growing business environment, ideally within the cloud and/or Kubernetes management sector.
