Solutions Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• The Solutions Consultant will offer technical leadership and expertise throughout the customer security transformation journeys.

• Collaborate with customers to establish technical solutions that safeguard their business objectives.

• Advocate for the company’s industry leadership in on-premises, cloud, and security operations services.

• Develop and execute strategic technical account plans aimed at cross-platform solutions.

• Perform discovery to comprehend and express the key technical, operational, and commercial priorities of prospects and customers.

• Work in conjunction with Professional Services, Customer Success, and Specialist teams to ensure comprehensive customer implementation and solution adoption.

• Lead effective technical validation efforts following best practices.

• Promote customer adoption of the Palo Alto Networks Platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in pre-sales or sales engineering.

• Proficient in at least one of the following areas: Networking, Network Security, Cybersecurity, Private/Public Cloud Security, SOC/Endpoint, or SASE.

• Preferred experience in delivering cybersecurity solutions that address technical challenges and drive new business initiatives.

• Ability to influence and secure buy-in from key stakeholders, whether in a customer-facing or internal capacity; prior experience in a pre-sales environment is advantageous.

• Skilled in creating and delivering technical presentations, workshops, or validation engagements.

• Experience in selling, designing, implementing, or managing solutions such as Network Security, SASE, SaaS, CNAPP, and/or SOC Transformation Technologies.

• Collaborate with Customer Support functions to guarantee the successful implementation and adoption of sold solutions.

• Preferred experience in complex sales processes involving multiple buying centers and multi-product solutions.

• Business fluent in English.
