This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Achieving and surpassing sales targets by developing and executing strategic, technical account plans that focus on cross-platform solutions.
• Comprehending key business needs of customers and possessing the capability to position, demonstrate, and create high-level designs across the entire PANW portfolio, delivering business value for clients.
• Driving customer adoption of the Palo Alto Networks Platform.
• Fostering customer relationships by assisting clients in enhancing productivity, operational efficiency, security efficacy, and increasing flexibility for innovation.
• Conducting discovery sessions to comprehend and express the key technical, operational, and commercial priorities of prospects and customers.
• Collaborating closely with Professional Services, Customer Success, and Specialist teams to ensure the successful implementation and adoption of solutions by customers.
• Exhibiting strong communication skills, influencing others through effective presentations and customer-specific demonstrations, while conducting technical engagements and workshops that are clear and impactful, simplifying complex concepts for diverse audiences.
• Leading successful technical validation efforts grounded in best practices to secure technical victories in assigned opportunities.
• Demonstrating cross-functional leadership by driving collaboration and coordinating supporting resources (Specialists, Channel Resources, Customer Support) to ensure a unified approach that reflects a cohesive strategy.
• Advocating for comprehensive solutions that encompass PANW and/or partner professional services to expedite the realization of business value for customers.
• Understanding the competitive landscape and effectively highlighting PANW's leadership within the cybersecurity domain.
• Continuously investing in personal development to enhance technical and professional abilities that contribute to the success of our customers, while actively engaging with the Solutions Consultant community and participating in industry events.
• Identifying technical stakeholders and nurturing relationships with key personas to establish and advance a security architecture transformation roadmap.
• 6+ years of experience in pre-sales or sales engineering.
• Proficient in at least one of the following areas: Networking, Network Security, Cybersecurity, Private/Public Cloud Security, SOC/Endpoint, or SASE.
• Preferred experience in delivering cybersecurity solutions that address technical challenges and influence new business initiatives.
• Ability to influence and gain support from key stakeholders, whether in a customer-facing or internal capacity; prior experience in a pre-sales role is advantageous.
• Experience in creating and delivering technical presentations, workshops, or technical validation engagements.
• Background in selling, designing, implementing, or managing one or more of the following solutions: Network Security, SASE, SaaS, CNAPP, and/or SOC Transformation Technologies.
• Collaborating with Customer Support functions to ensure the successful implementation and adoption of sold solutions.
• Preferred experience in complex sales involving lengthy sales processes with multiple buying centers and multi-product solutions.
• Professional communication skills in both German and English.
