This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide technical guidance and coordination for a team of Solutions Architects and Solutions Estimators within the GCDC vertical.
• Lead the team in creating system designs, solutions, estimates, and proposal strategies for large-scale enterprise and data center projects.
• Maintain consistency and quality across solution designs, scopes of work, and estimates produced by the team.
• Act as a senior technical resource and escalation point for complex projects, specialized environments, and regulated installations.
• Collaborate with sales leadership and vertical management to align solution strategies with customer needs and business objectives.
• Mentor and direct Solutions Architects and Estimators, offering technical leadership and strategic support across complex opportunities.
• Manage workload and priorities across the team to support high-value opportunities and strategic initiatives.
• Partner with customers and sales colleagues to develop solutions, designs, scopes of work, and specifications for large and complex projects.
• Engage in pre-bid meetings and technical discussions to thoroughly evaluate project needs and unique requirements.
• Lead the creation of detailed, comprehensive cost estimates for large, multi-site, or country-specific complex security projects, including data centers, global enterprise installations, and regulated environments (e.g., UL2050, defense, and government).
• Work closely with sales, engineering, procurement, and operations to ensure estimates align with project scope, technical requirements, and timelines.
• Collaborate with partners to identify new and optimal technologies to implement in solutions and designs.
• Source and manage pricing from specialized vendors, subcontractors, and partners to ensure adherence to project standards and regulations.
• Recognize project risks, special handling requirements, and potential solutions to meet regulatory and customer expectations.
• Participate in client meetings and presentations to clarify project scope and value proposition.
• Coordinate with installation teams to ensure the feasibility and accuracy of estimates.
• Leverage industry knowledge of regulations and compliance requirements.
• Monitor project costs, potential risks, and margins to enhance pricing strategies.
• Ensure estimates are consistent with company pricing strategies and market competitiveness.
• Prepare and present precise proposals to both internal and external customers.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as requested or required.
• 7-9 years of experience in design consulting, system design, system commissioning, estimating, project management, and/or installation for complex and large-scale electronic physical security projects.
• Expertise in access control, CCTV, and physical security systems, particularly in large-scale enterprise, multi-site, and complex projects.
• Strong comprehension of regulatory requirements for specialized environments.
• Proficiency in advanced estimating tools, Microsoft Office, and project collaboration software.
• Outstanding problem-solving, analytical, and organizational abilities.
• Capability to manage multiple high-priority projects and deliver results under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
