Solutions Architect, Networking, Ethernet

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Constructing and managing AI/HPC infrastructure for both new and existing clientele.

• Assisting with the operational and reliability dimensions of large-scale AI clusters, concentrating on performance at scale, real-time monitoring, logging, and alert notifications.

• Participating in and enhancing the entire service lifecycle—from initial design to deployment, operation, and ongoing improvements.

• Sustaining services post-launch by assessing and tracking availability, latency, and overall system health, with a focus on performance optimizations that align with requirements and SLAs.

• Offering insights to internal teams, including reporting bugs, outlining workarounds, and proposing enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• BS/MS/PhD or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related disciplines.

• A minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in networking fundamentals, TCP/IP stack, and data center architecture.

• Expertise in configuring, testing, validating, and troubleshooting issues within LAN networks, particularly in medium to large-scale HPC/AI settings.

• Advanced understanding of EVPN, BGP, OSPF, and VXLAN protocols.

• Practical experience with network switch/router platforms such as Cumulus Linux, SONiC, IOS, JunosOS, and EOS.

• Significant experience in delivering automated network provisioning solutions utilizing tools like Ansible, Salt, and Python.

• Capability to develop CI/CD pipelines for network operations.

• Strong emphasis on customer needs and satisfaction.

• Self-driven with leadership abilities to collaborate effectively with customers and internal teams.

• Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills in English are essential.
