Solutions Architect, Insurance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Interact with clients to grasp their needs and recommend suitable solution architectures.

• Collaborate with Product Managers to ensure client requirements align with solution design.

• Partner closely with Delivery Managers to supervise the architectural strategy during solution implementation.

• Investigate a variety of options and creative alternatives to pinpoint the most effective solutions.

• Ensure the solutions designed are executed in line with client expectations and company standards.

• Aid in identifying, specifying, and selecting off-the-shelf components to fulfill client requirements.

• Offer continuous support and advice to clients throughout the implementation phase.

• Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance solutions consistently.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in solution architecture design and delivery within the insurance sector, with exposure to various lines of business.

• Proficient in delivering cloud-based technology product solutions in an enterprise setting.

• Capable of defining and disseminating a product/enterprise roadmap.

• Skilled in translating client needs into actionable steps and solution architectures.

• Knowledgeable about business architecture models and patterns.

• Experienced in designing and implementing innovative, creative solutions to business challenges.

• Able to think "outside the box" while also understanding business constraints that necessitate "in the box" solutions.

• Familiar with optimal strategies for cloud-based applications featuring high availability and scalability.

• Experienced in designing solutions within both Relational DB and noSQL environments.

• Knowledgeable in designing for API and Micro-services centric environments.

• Proven ability to self-learn new technology trends and methodologies.

• Ideally has experience or comprehension of the advantages of low-code platforms.

• Although the Solution Architect is not expected to build the solutions, familiarity with multiple development languages and various DB engines would be beneficial.

• Exposure to authentication and authorization concepts (SSO, SAML integration, identity federation, etc.).

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
