Solutions Architect – DevOps

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Oversee extensive computational and AI infrastructure.

• Concentrate on monitoring, logging, and workload orchestration using Kubernetes and Linux job schedulers.

• Enhance scalable, production-ready container platforms based on Kubernetes.

• Create and document best practices and operational procedures.

• Execute end-to-end troubleshooting across the entire stack.

• Provide support for Enterprise, Research & Development initiatives.

• Implement monitoring solutions for servers, networks, and storage systems.

• Design tools to automate the deployment and management of large-scale infrastructure settings.

• Produce and present high-quality documentation.

• Act as the technical lead for designated customer accounts.

⛳️ Requirements

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field.

• Over 5 years of professional experience in managing scalable cloud environments and roles in automation engineering.

• In-depth experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration, resource scheduling, scaling, and integration with HPC environments.

• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP stack), data center architecture, and hands-on experience with managing HPC/AI clusters.

• Knowledge of HPC and AI technologies, including CPUs, GPUs, and high-speed interconnects.

• Comprehensive understanding of Linux (RedHat/CentOS, Ubuntu), OS-level security, and protocols (TCP, DHCP, DNS).

• Experience with storage solutions like Lustre, GPFS, ZFS, XFS, and emerging Kubernetes storage technologies.

• Skilled in Python and Bash scripting, configuration management, and Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).

• Familiarity with observability stacks such as Grafana, Loki, and Prometheus.

• Strong experience in developing scalable solutions and providing consultative support to clients.
