Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Lead hands-on architectural initiatives across client engagements, emphasizing solution design, delivery oversight, and early-stage technical consulting during the presales phase.

• Support strategic technology decisions across client projects, shaping architectural direction, defining critical processes, and influencing organizational design.

• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to executive stakeholders by leading architecture reviews, roadmap planning sessions, and strategic technology discussions with stakeholders, including CTOs and CEOs.

• Collaborate with the team on the architectural design of new systems from the ground up, spearhead the modernization of existing platforms, and guide cloud migration efforts.

• Engage early in projects to help shape them during the discovery phase by converting business requirements into technical blueprints.

• Define system architecture and cloud infrastructure, ensuring a balance between performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness in your decisions.

• Clearly document your architectural decisions using diagrams, Architecture Decision Records (ADRs), and other materials that support long-term maintainability.

• Contribute to timeline and cost estimations to aid in planning, team allocation, and client roadmaps.

• Drive hands-on efforts, particularly for proof-of-concept projects and foundational infrastructure development.

• Facilitate internal knowledge sharing, mentor engineering teams, and introduce innovative practices, including the exploration of emerging technologies such as GenAI.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience or a willingness to engage directly with external clients.

• Over 5 years of experience in software development with cloud architecture, preferably AWS.

• Strong coding abilities in a modern programming language, such as Python or Node.js, for proof-of-concepts and critical tasks.

• Hands-on experience in system design, DevOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, containerization, and serverless technologies.

• Proficient in architectural documentation.

• An interest in fostering innovation.

• English proficiency at C1 level.

• Polish proficiency at C1 level.
