Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• The Microsoft Solutions Architect delivers senior-level consulting services, project scoping, implementation, and technical remediation for clients in Professional Services.

• Responsible for designing, implementing, and resolving complex solutions across a wide array of technologies, including the complete suite of Microsoft Modern Workplace.

• Engaging in highly visible project work and consultation for Managed Solution’s professional services clients, ensuring alignment of solutions with intricate business objectives as well as security, compliance, and availability requirements.

• Collaborating with clients to determine technical needs and crafting solutions to present during presales meetings.

• Offering architecture, consulting, project implementation, and high-level troubleshooting services.

• Utilizing subject matter expertise in specialized areas such as Cloud Migration, Servers, Storage + Power, Active Directory, Networking, and Exchange/Messaging.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.

• At least 10 years of experience in an IT role, including a minimum of 8 years in relevant consultative or professional services at an MSP or similar outsourced IT provider.

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in migrating or deploying cloud infrastructure (Azure, Office365) is essential.

• Proven success as a consultant for Microsoft services across various customer contexts, from small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs) to large enterprises.

• Ability to consult and operate effectively in both SMB and enterprise environments is necessary.

• Strong understanding of M365 architecture trends, technical conditions, and future directions.

• High levels of project ownership and accountability in a results-driven setting.

• Commitment to ongoing learning and innovation.

• Strong dedication to thorough documentation and repeatable standards.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Capability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive demeanor and providing outstanding customer service.
