Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Interact directly with clients to grasp their business requirements, challenges, and goals. Transform these insights into customized cloud solutions that align with their objectives.

• Design and implement cloud-based solutions, ensuring compliance with the Well-Architected Framework. This encompasses both the creation of innovative solutions and the migration of existing workloads to the cloud.

• Guarantee that the cloud solutions are optimized for seamless operations, enabling clients to swiftly adapt to evolving business environments.

• Establish robust, compliant, and resilient architectures that protect client data and business processes from potential threats.

• Create fault-tolerant solutions to ensure high availability and meet the needs of clients' critical business functions.

• Continuously assess and enhance solutions for speed, responsiveness, and scalability by leveraging optimal cloud provider services.

• Ensure that cloud solutions provide maximum value, focusing on cost optimization without sacrificing quality or performance.

• Develop thorough and clear documentation for all designed and implemented solutions, making it easy for other team members or stakeholders to understand, maintain, and scale.

• Offer guidance and direction in technical domains, establishing standards and ensuring the team adheres to best practices and quality benchmarks.

• Serve as the primary contact for any technical issues or challenges related to the implemented solutions, efficiently diagnosing and resolving problems to minimize client disruption.

• Collaborate closely with project managers, account managers, and the engineering team to ensure smooth execution and delivery of solutions. Promote a cooperative atmosphere that encourages knowledge sharing and mutual development.

• Stay informed about the latest advancements in cloud services, technologies, and industry best practices. Allocate time for self-improvement, attending workshops, webinars, and pursuing relevant certifications to enhance expertise.

• Share knowledge and insights with the team, promoting a culture of ongoing learning and improvement. Mentor junior team members and assist them in navigating challenges and developing in their roles.

• Proactively seek feedback on designed solutions and utilize it as an opportunity for refinement and innovation. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure continual enhancement of processes and solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields is highly desirable. A Master's degree is preferred but not mandatory.

• Over 1 year of experience as a Solutions Architect, Cloud Architect, or in a similar role within cloud-based environments.

• Strong knowledge of the AWS platform, with relevant certifications being a significant plus (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect).

• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Experience in project management and leading technical teams using agile methodologies.

• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools is advantageous.

• A problem-solving mindset with a dedication to delivering high-quality solutions.
