This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Spearhead the development of customer solutions using Matrix and Element’s technology stack.
• Take ownership of technical delivery from the stages of requirements gathering to deployment.
• Serve as a liaison between customer requirements and Element’s product development roadmap.
• Offer expertise on installation, configuration, scaling, and integration processes.
• Oversee scope, risks, and timelines associated with implementation tasks.
• Assist in enhancing our documentation and internal workflows.
• Provide technical support to Account Executives during the sales process.
• Conduct product demonstrations, architecture evaluations, and in-depth technical discussions.
• Participate in discovery sessions to identify customer challenges.
• Deliver solution sizing, integration advice, and technical validation.
• Contribute to responses for RFPs and formal proposals.
• Keep up-to-date with trends in collaboration and communication technologies.
• Advocate for the interests of potential customers within the organization.
• Proficient in both German and English (C1+).
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to engage stakeholders effectively.
• Strong knowledge of modern infrastructure, including Linux, Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Practical experience with database technologies (e.g., PostgreSQL, SQL).
• Understanding of directory services and authentication methods (LDAP, AD, OIDC, SSO).
• Experience in technical roles serving enterprise or government clients.
• Familiarity with scripting or programming languages (Python, JS, or similar).
• Knowledge of web technologies and client/server architectures.
• Understanding of Git version control.
• Familiarity with VoIP, E2EE, or decentralized systems (preferred).
• Experience working in or with the German public sector (preferred).
• Contributions to or experience with open-source projects (preferred).
• Possession of German security clearance (SÜ2 or similar) (preferred).
• Knowledge of mobile platforms (iOS, Android) (preferred).
• Familiarity with mobile device management technologies (preferred).
