This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Recruit, mentor, and lead an exceptional Solution Engineering team to achieve set objectives.
• Oversee both individual and team performance, ensuring necessary measures are taken to uphold high performance standards.
• Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, along with management consulting expertise to influence perspectives and secure acceptance from various customer groups.
• Work to enhance the SailPoint sales methodologies and processes, including the creation of product presentations and demonstrations.
• Identify gaps in emerging training requirements and subsequently design and execute programs to enhance the sales, product, and technology expertise of the Sales Engineering team.
• Collaborate with Regional Sales directors on account strategies, planning, and sales call initiatives.
• Provide prompt and insightful feedback to other corporate departments, particularly in field sales, product management, and marketing.
• Cultivate relationships with product teams and decision-makers, both internally and externally.
• In-depth understanding of SaaS solutions.
• Strong knowledge or experience in identity and key identity principles.
• Familiarity or experience with AI-driven solutions.
• Outstanding communication skills, including experience addressing both technical and business audiences.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a sales engineering manager and 5 years as a sales engineer.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Preferred educational background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent global experience.
