This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Collaborate closely with our exceptional sales team from the initial discovery phase to deal closure, aiming to reduce sales cycles and enhance closing rates.
• Lead and engage in initial discovery meetings with clients, delivering platform demonstrations and highly technical Proof of Value engagements for both existing customers and new sales prospects.
• Serve as the primary link that translates client business challenges into technical solutions, positioning Tanium to effectively address those challenges.
• Act as a technical authority throughout the sales process, ensuring that tactical actions in the pre-sales and Proof of Value stages align with strategic account objectives.
• Work in partnership with field engineering teams to guarantee optimal technical effectiveness and a consistent customer experience during the Proof of Value process.
• Continuously and effectively address our clients' needs through sharp verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Develop, manage, and sustain strong relationships with customers, peers, and partners.
• Actively engage and present at regional marketing events and conferences.
• Involve in customer-facing sales and channel enablement, including training.
• Serve as a critical component of the sales model, collaborating with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to enhance effectiveness and efficiency throughout the customer life-cycle.
• Expected travel is 30-50% to interact with customers and prospects in person.
• 4+ years of operational and/or sales experience in endpoint operations or security.
• 2+ years of experience in customer-facing or customer support roles.
• Extensive software pre-sales or related value-based technical selling expertise in large enterprise environments.
• Experience presenting at various levels, from VP to Solution Users.
• A proven history of taking ownership of complex initiatives and achieving successful results.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the IT security, operations, and compliance landscape and products.
• In-depth knowledge with practical experience in one or more of the following areas:
• Endpoint Security
• IT Operations Management
• Regulatory Compliance
• A general understanding of scripting languages is advantageous.
• Proven critical thinking abilities.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Naturally collaborative with a mission-first mindset.
• BS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent experience is required.
• 5 days allocated as volunteer time off (VTO) to engage with the communities they live in and support the causes they are most passionate about.
