This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Design the architecture for SAP Service Cloud V2 and SAP Customer Engagement (CE), encompassing extensions and customizations.
• Lead and oversee development teams: take technical ownership of projects while sharing your expertise in code reviews, design choices, and best practices.
• Integrate Service Cloud V2 with additional SAP systems (e.g., S/4HANA, SAP S/4HANA Utilities, BTP - CPI) and third-party applications.
• Develop solution concepts, prototypes (POCs), and strategic roadmaps.
• Offer technical coaching and knowledge transfer: mentor team members and ensure the production of high-quality, maintainable code.
• Address non-functional requirements such as performance, scalability, security, and operational efficiency.
• Assist in pre-sales initiatives: aid in crafting architecture proposals, effort estimations, and customer presentations.
• Multiple years of experience as a Software Architect, Lead Developer, or Solution Architect, preferably with a focus on SAP cloud and CRM solutions, alongside experience in the utilities sector.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP Service Cloud V2 (standard functionalities, APIs, extension mechanisms).
• Familiarity with SAP Customer Engagement / SAP CX; experience in the utilities domain is advantageous.
• Strong background in cloud architectures, especially SAP BTP - CPI, microservices, API design, and system integrations.
• Proficient programming skills (e.g., Java, Node.js, or similar platforms).
• Experience in project management.
• Excellent command of German and proficient English language skills.
