Solution Architect – Data Analytics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with colleagues to design, develop, and implement comprehensive data and analytics solutions for enterprise clients.

• Engage with clients to discuss best practices and methodologies for contemporary data and analytics.

• Integrate various data sources to create models and reports tailored for business users.

• Set up and manage cloud infrastructure within Azure.

• Articulate Microsoft’s cloud data strategy and roadmap effectively.

• Keep abreast of the latest Microsoft technologies and optimal practices in modern data platforms.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven data engineering experience in Azure, along with familiarity with modern data platform technologies such as Azure Analysis Services, Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Warehouse, and Azure Data Factory.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in data engineering and modeling.

• Capability to design an end-to-end data analytics solution architecture and oversee its execution.

• Strong grasp of Agile engineering methodologies.

• Experience in Data Warehousing.

• Proficient in Data ETL/ELT processes.

• Skilled in Data Modeling (Dimensional/Kimball).

• Proficiency in T-SQL.

• Familiarity with Azure Data Factory or substantial experience with SSIS.

• Knowledge of Azure Data Lake Store.

• Experience with SQL Server/Azure SQL.

• Proficient in Azure Analysis Services or SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) - Tabular.

• Experience with Azure DevOps and Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery practices.
