Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Lead the technical direction of the team and empower the development group to create, enhance, and sustain applications.

• Engage in a diverse range of projects for various clients across different subject matter areas.

• Direct, execute, and take part in design and architecture discussions and decisions.

• Collaborate with user experience, product delivery, and non-technical program management teams.

• Ensure that solutions adhere to security and performance best practices.

• Create and maintain necessary design and other documentation as required by clients.

• Communicate with the client’s team members to align on technical solutions.

• Comprehend requirements and devise viable technical solutions by selecting appropriate frameworks.

• Understand the implementation of the solutions you oversee to better guide tech leads and developers when necessary.

• Ensure a stable and productive development environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in software architecture design and technical leadership.

• Strong experience with GCP.

• Proficient in backend development, particularly with technologies such as Node.JS and JavaScript.

• Comfortable with learning new frameworks.

• Experience in designing software architecture and defining frameworks and technologies.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, including Github Actions and Jenkins.

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (serverless).

• Ability to create proofs of concept and code complex mechanisms.

• Eagerness to work with various technologies and learn continuously.

• Capability to share your expertise with junior team members.

• Knowledge of non-functional requirements such as performance, security, privacy, GDPR, etc., is a plus.

• Understanding of Design Patterns, Clean Architecture, and Clean Coding principles.

• Familiarity with unit, integration, and E2E testing.

• Experience with Terraform.

• Strong experience with AWS.
