Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Innovatively addressing technical and conceptual challenges while managing implementations.

• Accountable for designing solutions for intricate software systems and application landscapes.

• Strategizing and developing solution architectures along with cross-cutting concepts.

• Guaranteeing non-functional requirements meet state-of-the-art quality and security standards.

• Providing coaching and leadership across teams in architecture, design, implementation, and methodology.

• Collaborating across disciplines with various stakeholders from multiple teams.

• Creating architectural documentation (arc42, C4).

• Utilizing a modern technology stack including Java, JavaScript, cloud, and DevOps environments, as well as other technologies relevant to project contexts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in German, both spoken and written (C1); good command of English.

• Degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification.

• Minimum of 5 years of applicable experience in solution architecture.

• Strong experience in specifying and designing software architectures (e.g., UML, DDD, OOA, OOD).

• Extensive technical architecture knowledge related to cloud, security, and platform requirements.

• Ideally holds ISAQB or similar certifications.

• Demonstrates pragmatism, solution orientation, and strong abstraction skills.

• Exceptional communication and argumentation abilities.
