This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Greece.
• Team Leadership: Guide, mentor, and motivate a group of software engineers, cultivating a collaborative and high-performance environment.
• Project Management: Oversee project timelines, priorities, and resources to guarantee timely and budget-conscious delivery of software solutions.
• Technical Guidance: Offer technical direction, expertise, and conduct code reviews to maintain software quality and adherence to best practices.
• Architecture and Design: Play a role in architectural decisions and software system design, focusing on scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Collaboration: Work alongside cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and QA, to ensure alignment on project objectives and requirements.
• Problem Solving: Assist with complex troubleshooting and problem-solving as needed, providing guidance and expertise to the team.
• Process Improvement: Regularly assess and enhance development processes, tools, and methodologies to boost team productivity.
• Mentoring: Guide and train team members, encouraging skill development and career advancement.
• Code Quality: Maintain code quality, sustainability, and documentation by establishing and enforcing coding standards.
• Risk Management: Identify and alleviate project risks, proactively addressing challenges and bottlenecks.
• Demonstrated experience as a software engineer with a strong history of successful software development projects.
• Strong technical proficiency in one or more programming languages and technologies relevant to the team's focus, such as .NET or equivalent, Microservices, and both synchronous and asynchronous communication.
• Leadership and project management experience, with the capacity to guide and inspire a team.
• Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills.
• Familiarity with software development best practices, including Agile methodologies.
• Strong organizational abilities and the capability to manage multiple projects at once.
• Understanding of software design patterns, architecture, and system scalability.
• Experience with version control systems and project management tools.
