Software Engineer – Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Leverage extensive knowledge in technologies essential to the company's goals, ensuring the execution of innovative technical solutions;

• Create intricate systems that are scalable, secure, and efficient by employing solid software architecture methodologies. Evaluate and enhance processes and systems to optimize performance and operational effectiveness;

• Establish and sustain CI/CD pipelines, utilizing automation tools to guarantee the swift and seamless delivery of high-quality code;

• Oversee complex microservices environments utilizing Docker and Kubernetes, fine-tuning cluster resources;

• Apply advanced security measures, including the integration of security checks within CI/CD pipelines and the enforcement of security policies in both cloud and on-premises settings;

• Set up alerts and dashboards to track system health and apply advanced networking skills to ensure secure and efficient connectivity;

• Devise effective backup and disaster recovery plans to safeguard data and ensure business continuity;

• Mentor and guide junior engineers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the company's processes and technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A completed Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, Statistics, Economics, or other related technology fields;

• Expertise in key and specialized technologies vital to the company's objectives (e.g., specific cloud technologies, data analysis tools, or advanced development frameworks);

• Proven experience in designing complex, scalable, and secure systems with a robust approach to software architecture;

• Capability to pinpoint performance bottlenecks and employ advanced optimization strategies to enhance system efficiency and performance;

• Familiarity with process and infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef, along with experience in Docker and Kubernetes for constructing and managing microservices environments, cluster management, and resource optimization;

• Proficient in integrating security checks into CI/CD pipelines, managing identity and access, and addressing security incidents;

• Experience in the implementation of security policies in both cloud and on-premises environments;

• Skilled in configuring and maintaining alerts and dashboards to monitor system health and performance, utilizing tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or similar;

• Ability to design and maintain CI/CD pipelines that facilitate continuous, rapid code delivery;

• Strong networking expertise, including routing, switching, firewalls, and VPNs, to ensure secure and efficient connectivity;

• Experience in developing and executing effective backup and disaster recovery strategies to safeguard data and ensure business continuity;

• A proven history of leading complex projects and implementing specialized solutions.
