This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.
• Assist in developing and maintaining the foundational infrastructure that supports Quora's ML platform, ensuring it remains highly available, scalable, and performs efficiently.
• Enhance and refine the distributed systems that deliver our ML models in production, encompassing Large Recommendation Models (LRM) and Large Language Models (LLM).
• Focus on GPU model serving by optimizing latency, throughput, and costs to accommodate larger and more advanced models.
• Contribute to platform initiatives such as the standardization of PyTorch and the modernization of the ML ecosystem.
• Increase the productivity of ML developers by creating tools that enable ML engineers to develop, test, and deploy models with greater efficiency.
• Revamp our feature store to allow ML engineers to implement new features into production more swiftly.
• Take part in the team's on-call rotation to assist in resolving production issues while expanding your knowledge and ownership of the platform.
• A graduate in 2025 or 2026, or currently pursuing a B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline.
• A sincere interest in large-scale distributed systems, infrastructure, and machine learning.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or C++, or the capability to quickly acquire these skills.
