Software Engineer III - Java

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Manage and enhance the healthcare technology platform and its associated products.

• Create new features, investigate and resolve issues, and refactor existing code.

• Work collaboratively with a cross-functional team while mentoring junior developers.

• Document, maintain, and oversee technical artifacts along with the internal knowledge base.

• Ensure that applications meet performance, quality, and responsiveness standards.

• Drive projects through the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and take part in technical discussions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Expertise in Java 17+, unit testing frameworks, and version control systems (Git).

• Intermediate knowledge of MySQL/MongoDB with substantial expertise in Health Information Exchange (HIE), Outpatient (OP), and Health IT standards (FHIR, HL7, CCDA, X12).

• Familiarity with networking protocols (TCP/IP, REST) and AWS cloud services.

• Over 5 years of experience in software engineering.

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is strongly preferred.

• Experience with Spring Boot is mandatory.

• Proficiency in AI tools (e.g., Claude) is required.

• Proven ability to deliver high-quality, business-oriented solutions in a dynamic, Agile environment.
