Software Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• In the role of Software Engineer II (Analyst), you will take charge of automating repetitive tasks, enhancing the software development lifecycle, and refining deployment processes to facilitate quicker and more dependable software releases.

• You will evaluate current engineering processes and workflows to pinpoint bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and potential areas for enhancement.

• Utilizing guild insights, you will partner with engineering teams to devise and implement process improvements, enhance code review protocols, and adopt best practices for continuous integration and delivery.

• You will collaborate with a team of technologists based in both the U.S. and Brazil.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in building and supporting production web applications.

• Familiarity with tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and Terraform.

• Proficient in writing software that is utilized in a production environment.

• Experience working on a platform with multiple services.

• A strong desire and motivation to broaden your skillset and tackle challenging tasks.

• A team-oriented mindset: highly collaborative, focused on documentation, and skilled at balancing asynchronous communication with virtual meetings.

• A passion for addressing complex technical issues in both new and legacy codebases.

• A commitment to improving the codebase, leaving it in a better state than it was found.

• Experience working with various team members of differing experience levels to design and implement technical projects.

• Capability to work independently and solve problems effectively.
