This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Accountable for configuring and delivering applications that face clients.
• Provide support for the enhancement of processes under the supervision of the Senior Software Engineer and the Manager of Technical Operations.
• Oversee the daily maintenance of healthcare application systems, which includes identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving or escalating application issues.
• Manage communication and client relationship efforts collaboratively with members of the Infrastructure Service Support team.
• Configure client-facing applications according to the specifications gathered by engagement teams.
• Update client-facing applications precisely as outlined by engagement teams' requirements.
• Act as a representative of the Application Operations/Development team for all ongoing projects.
• Take part in daily stand-up meetings focused on application operations and development.
• Adhere to established protocols for change management across applications when necessary.
• Document and uphold the standard operating procedures for application operations and development.
• Produce WIKI articles for common repetitive processes that can be shared with others.
• Collaborate with the Application Development Team to effectively deploy software releases in both User Acceptance Testing and Production environments.
• Set up environments for all new implementations.
• Configure Single Sign-On integrations for client builds.
• Assist in the development of product unit tests intended for future application regression testing.
• Evaluate key performance indicators for application development, such as bug density, sprint analysis, test coverage, and more.
• Bachelor’s degree in Technology/Engineering (Computer Science or equivalent).
• 2-4 years of relevant experience working as an application engineer, developer, or support (level 1/2).
• Strong understanding of GIT fundamentals and daily operational use.
• Practical knowledge of the following tools and technologies: SQL Server, Windows, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery.
• Familiarity with the Agile Development Lifecycle.
• Experience in web application configuration and templating.
• Operational knowledge of Team Foundation Server, Azure DevOps, and Octopus.
• Understanding of continuous integration and deployment methodologies.
• Experience with Veeva or Salesforce is advantageous.
• Working knowledge of the US Healthcare/Market Access landscape would be beneficial.
• Familiarity with Azure hosting components.
