Software Engineer – Growth

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Serve as a technical authority within a team of engineers dedicated to developing and maintaining Invoice Simple’s platform.

• Collaborate with engineering and product stakeholders to enhance the product roadmap.

• Assist in the planning and execution of product features, actively engaging in software development tasks.

• Ensure your team produces high-quality, scalable software solutions that meet both customer and business objectives.

• Promote effective, scalable design by adopting best engineering practices and setting high standards for quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in software development.

• More than 3 years of professional industry experience in delivering scalable software solutions.

• At least 2 years of experience in creating seamless, modern applications using React, Typescript, and Tailwind.

• Familiarity with cloud computing services such as AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure.

• Profound understanding of the NodeJS ecosystem.

• Extensive knowledge in database modeling and caching technologies, including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis.

• Strong comprehension of RESTful API design and development.

• Experience with large-scale third-party integrations.

• Familiarity with contemporary version control and continuous integration systems (Git, Docker, Github Actions).

• Background in agile development methodologies and tools (JIRA, Scrum, Kanban).
