Software Engineer – EHR EPIC Integration Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Supervise comprehensive integration projects, including those related to Epic interfaces.

• Oversee the development, configuration, and support of interfaces utilizing Epic Bridges.

• Create, develop, and sustain APIs and microservices for effective communication between internal and external systems.

• Direct data integration initiatives, ensuring precise transformation, validation, and mapping of data across systems, including Epic data feeds.

• Work in partnership with business, IT, and clinical stakeholders to outline integration architecture and design scalable solutions.

• Detect and resolve integration and interface challenges, collaborating closely with development, support, and operations teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline is mandatory.

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in integration roles.

• Prior experience with EHR interfaces is essential!

• Familiarity with API management platforms is required.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for integration processes is necessary.

• Prior work as an Epic Interface Analyst, with experience in at least one interface engine such as Cloverleaf, Rhapsody, or MuleSoft, is essential.

• Experience with Epic Interfaces for Eligibility (ANSI/X12), Authorization (ANSI/X12), Claims (ANSI/X12), E-Prescribing, and Financial Transactions is required.

• Knowledge of healthcare-specific integration standards, including HL7, FHIR, and HIPAA regulations.

• Demonstrated experience with data integration platforms and ETL processes (e.g., Rhapsody, MuleSoft).
