Software Engineer, Data Platform

📋 Description

• Standardize Lattice’s data infrastructure and practices by creating a straightforward, cohesive, and dependable platform that integrates internal and partner data seamlessly.

• Design, develop, and implement scalable data pipelines capable of ingesting, processing, and delivering data across various teams for both batch and streaming workloads.

• Ensure data is easily accessible by abstracting infrastructure complexity through reusable SDKs, libraries, and tools.

• Establish data governance practices that guarantee data access is secure, compliant, and of high quality.

• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and business leaders to identify data requirements and implement solutions that align with strategic goals.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in software, data, or analytics engineering, with exposure to a centralized “data platform” or a large-scale data infrastructure initiative.

• Proficiency in SQL and a general-purpose programming language; Python or TypeScript is preferred.

• Familiarity with a data warehouse/lakehouse platform such as Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or Databricks.

• Understanding of AWS services or their equivalents, such as IAM, Glue, Lambda, Athena, Redshift, Kinesis, and EKS.

• Preferred: Hands-on experience with data processing frameworks like dbt, Spark, Kafka Streams, or Flink.

• A willingness to learn and curiosity about how trustworthy, insightful data can create value for our users.
