Software Engineer, Data Analytics & Administration

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• You will design integrations, data flows, data models, and best practices from the ground up within the realm of Data and Analytics.

• Your work will involve creating a scalable, secure, and maintainable solution to deliver value to our customers through both raw data exports and business KPIs related to transactions processed on our platform.

• You will be responsible for designing and developing scalable, maintainable backend services within our modern microservice architecture, crafting data-oriented APIs, and building dashboards based on them.

• Additionally, you will collaborate with your team to develop authorization and administration mechanisms that control data access on our platform, ensuring secure and flexible management of permissions and configurations.

• In task and workflow management, you will design and optimize interactions among various roles and users on our platform.

• You will take charge of the end-to-end delivery of new features, spanning from product concepts and architectural decisions to implementation and stable cloud operations.

• You will proactively identify risks, dependencies, and optimization opportunities, managing them actively to ensure project success.

• You will challenge business requirements and serve as a technical sparring partner within the team, proposing solutions and contributing innovative ideas for new features and technical enhancements.

• You will thrive in a team-oriented environment, collaborating closely with Product, Sales, and fellow Engineers.

⛳️ Requirements

• You possess several years of experience as a developer, with proficiency in Java (Spring Boot), and ideally have familiarity with other technologies we utilize.

• If you have frontend skills, particularly with React and TypeScript, along with experience in authentication and authorization systems—ideally with Keycloak or similar Identity and Access Management solutions—that would be a significant advantage.

• Your expertise includes knowledge of microservice architectures, data distribution and integration, API design, and operating distributed applications.

• You have experience working with large volumes of data and data-intensive applications, making performance optimization and scaling strategies second nature to you.

• Ideally, you have had exposure to Data, Analytics, or Reporting, including experience interfacing with common standard solutions, and you aspire to help shape our technical foundation for data-driven customer decisions.

• You are passionate about your work and eager to help build a new product component, influence structures, and not just handle existing tickets.
